There are a few small ponds in the forest near my home. One day last summer I came across this idyllic quiet refuge where a few of these guys hang out. I dallied a while for a few snapshots. Could be deep in the jungle or up the Amazon somewhere. What a nice peaceful life they seem to have croaking away all day and catching bugs. Must be tough in the winter though.
